Konzen

The Konzen sewage treatment plant of the Eifel-Rur water association is equipped with membrane filtration and has 28,800 membrane plates and a filter area of 23.040 m2. The membrane plates are in double-decker module racks and are distributed over eight filter chambers. The wastewater treatment plant has a connection size of 9,700 equivalent residents The maximum mixed water flow and thus the maximum filtration capacity is 153 l/ s. The daily wastewater inflow is 5.912 m3/d.

In 2015, 1,800 membrane plates (the top module row) from the manufacturer Sinap were installed in the number eight membrane chamber. Then from 2016 to 2019, totally 14,400 pieces new Sinap plates were installed in 4 chambers.

The other chambers contain new plates as well as old plates from the original equipment manufacturer, The plant was commissioned in 2006.
